Hop into a jeep and take a rugged journey through an ancient temple left in ruins. Beware the god Mara as you venture throughout this dark and eerie underground cavern. You’ll come across wobbly bridges, spikes dangling from the ceiling, creepy critters, crafty booby traps, spooky mummies and even a cameo appearance from good ‘ole Indy himself. (Unique feature: This ride is controlled by you and your crew. Therefore, you get to determine where to go and what to do next. So there are a variety of different paths and story lines.)
Jungle Cruise
Established in 1955, this is one of Disneyland’s first adventures. Today, it remains a timeless classic. Journey through the hidden jungle on a wooden Congo boat and hear the captain rattle off a slew of jokes loaded with extra cheese. (It’s all part of the experience.) Along the way you’ll run into lurking gators, venomous king cobras, angry hippos, giant-tusked elephants, zany zebras and raging rhinos.
Tarzan’s Treehouse
Explore Tarzan’s humble abode nestled high up in the trees. As you climb to the top, learn all about his family and how they’ve survived for so long in the jungle. At the bottom of the tree there’s an area where the kids can play musical tunes with kitchenware or even swing like apes on the ropes.
