Day Three - Trip to Disneyland
Published On: Dec 18, 2006Beyond Disneyland
Take day three to explore attractions outside of the Magic Kingdom. Are you a sports fan? During baseball season from April to October, the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim take the field at Angel Stadium. Or, you can check out a bit of hockey at Arrowhead Pond and see the Mighty Ducks. Popularly known as "the Pond", this lively entertainment venue also hosts a variety of concerts and shows throughout the year.
Knott's Berry Farms
If you're still yearning to explore the theme parks, try Knott's Berry Farms. This historic farm introduced the boysenberry to the world back in 1940. Nowadays, Knott's Berry offers an assortment of thrills coupled with the vintage allure of the Old West. Three zippy roller coasters will have you screaming at the top of your lungs. For hot days, the Bigfoot Rapids is the perfect white-water raft adventure.
Tasty Eatables
Let's not forget the delectable eats at Knott's Berry Farm. Start with some of their delicious country-style chicken, and then sample one of their signature deserts: boysenberry pie or funnel cake.
Santa Ana's Bowers Museum
There's one more stop along the way that often gets overlooked, but its well worth a visit. Located just off the 5, the Santa Ana's Bowers Museum showcases items from Egypt, China and beyond.
For dinner, Tangata serves up some delicious delights.
Now you've taken in three incredible days and explored Disneyland and beyond. With all the exciting adventures and activities you've experience, there's bound to be a smile upon your face.
